At the Richland Church of the Brethren, we offer opportunities for people come to know Jesus Christ and grow in their Christian faith. We are continually seeking new ways to share the love of Christ through discipleship, serving, and compassion.
Children's Ministry
Our Children's ministry allows children to hear and rejoice
while learning about good news of Jesus Christ. During our worship service we set aside time to invite children to participate in a dedicated children's message. Soon, we will be offering a fun environment for children to learn about Jesus using video resources from our ministry partners at RightNow Media. At this time we do not have a children's nursery but hope to make this available in the near future.
Men's Breakfast
Men of the community are invited to join us for our monthly breakfast gatherings in the Fellowship Hall. There's no preaching or teaching - just a time to enjoy good food, good conversation, and meet new friends. Donations always appreciated but not required.
The Vineyard
The Vineyard is our adult Bible ministry to help us cultivate our faith. The Vineyard is held at 9:30am every Sunday, prior to our Worship Service.
We use the comprehensive video resources from RightNow Media to learn how the Word of God can guide us in becoming more like Christ. We invite attenders to share their questions, insights, victories and challenges - and the discussions are always encouraging.
Hospitality Events
Several times a year we offer community events that are
opportunities to raise funds for those in need. Over the decades, the Richland Church has been blessed to help individuals and families in our communities through this fund-raising ministry.
Calvin's Love, Bibles For Babies
Calvin's Love is a ministry that was established to provide parents with newborns the opportunity to learn about God. Calvin was born into heaven, and God's purpose for his short life is to introduce parents and their children to the importance of a relationship with Jesus. Since the inception of Calvin's Love thousands of Bibles for babies have been distributed through hospitals, churches and non-profit organizations.
LifeWise Academy
The Richland Church partners with LifeWise through fundraising events. LifeWise is dedicated to offering opportunities for students, regardless of religious background, to benefit from a greater understanding of God's Word.
The Heifer Project
For many years, the Richland Church has proactively supported this important ministry, which provides farming families around the world with the tools and resources they need to thrive. Heifer International works with families in need to create long-term solutions to hunger and poverty.
ChildFund International
The Richland Church supports the work of CFI, an organization that helps deprived, excluded and vulnerable children develop the capacity to improve their lives and the opportunity to become young adults, parents and leaders who bring lasting and positive change in their communities.
